How to use a mask correctly

Choose a suitable mask

Choose a medical surgical mask or a mask with a higher level of protection according to your needs, and ensure that the size is appropriate and can fit the face tightly

Before wearing

Wash your hands and keep your hands clean.

Wearing

* Hold the mask with the nose clip facing up and the ear straps hanging naturally.
* Place the mask on the chin to cover the mouth and nose.
* Pull the ear straps to the ears and adjust to a comfortable state.
* Press the soft nose clip to make it fit the bridge of the nose tightly. Then cover the mask with both hands and exhale forcefully to test the sealing. If air leaks around the nose, tighten the nose clip; if it leaks from the edge, re-6. Adjust the ear strap position for a better fit, and repeat this step until the mask is well sealed.

Check

Pay attention to the wearing of the mask at all times to ensure a good seal.

Take off

Do not touch the outside of the mask. For ear-hook type, untie the ear straps before taking it off. For head-mounted type, untie the head strap first and then untie the head strap. Put it in the trash can or store it properly after taking it off, and wash your hands in time.

Replacement

If breathing becomes difficult, the mask is damaged or deformed, and a good facial seal cannot be achieved, the mask should be replaced immediately. Strictly following these instructions is an important step in the safe use of masks.
